I had the pleasure of staging this lovely home located in Roscoe, IL. It was a pleasure as it exemplified TEAMWORK. Even in a buyer's market the home went under contract in 10 DAYS!
What do I mean by teamwork? The Realtors aggressively marketing & pricing the home, calling in a stager prior to going to market, Simply Staged Inc. working hand in hand with the sellers in preparing the home for sale, and the home owners doing the extra work cleaning, organizing, and packing necessary when selling.
In fact, it doesn't stop there. The sellers were so impressed with the process of staging they wanted Simply Staged Inc. to help them set up their new home. The only problem was they were moving several states away.
ACTIVERAIN to the rescue! That is when our AR networking makes us ALL shine. I was able to confidently refer them to a stager located in the state to which they were moving. I say confidently, because by being a part of AR I have been a reader of her blog and seen numerous examples of her work. I was able to make a decision based on more information than just a website - although that was of equal quality.
You would think that is the end of this happy story, but it continues. The stager I referred not only offered to answer any questions the sellers may have about the area, she offered area Realtor referrals if they were so inclined. I would consider that Full Service Staging!
I wish I had more photos to share with you, but the only before/after I can show is of the family room. The current owners preferred to have the more formal living in the "family room" and located the casual living space which included TV in the "living room". That worked well for them, but since the majority of potential buyers would set up the home the opposite, that is what we did for selling.
We were able to stage the entire home by repurposing and editing the seller's existing furnishings/accessories. A total of four items needed to be purchased: lamp, print, and 2 throw pillows. Budget friendly staging!

How great that you were able to work within the clients budget and utilize the items they already had in their home. This room looks great and I am sure the rest of the house was just as lovely. Thank you Judy- Yes we have had lots of snow this year. I just learned from the Realtor that after the home was staged they priced it at $5,000 above where they had originally planned due to the staging and condition of the home.

Michele ~ You brought this home right into the 21st century with your staging transformation. The fireplace looks 1000% better, and the furniture is now just right for the space. Before it was far too cluttered for selling and now it's calm and lovely. Great job!
It was a fun project Maureen. I always like it when there are lots of pieces to choose from. Makes my job easier and the seller is pleased by the repurposing of "treasures" from around the home.
