There is often a misconception that staging is only for high end homes. I encourage you to view the before/after photos of this Rockford home and view how professional home staging has helped showcase this smaller home.
At the initial consultation Simply Staged provided recommendations to the home sellers in order to prepare it for staging day. The home has been well maintained and some updates have been made over the years. Therefore, the updates to be made were minor, a few light fixtures, a little painting and furniture selection/placement was addressed. The sellers decided to complete the jobs themselves in order to keep the budget down. The last step was to bring in Simply Staged rental accessories to compliment the seller's existing belongings.
A professional stager will guide you through the process of preparing your home for market. They will recommend improvements that will have great impact, but be mindful of the budget. Certainly, some homes may need more work then others, but that is where a professional home stager can assist you in making only the necessary changes to showcase your home and focus your dollars where they will have the most impact.

Nice job! I agree that staging works for all size homes and pocketbooks.
Beautiful staging, MIchele (as always). You brought in so much more visual real estate.
Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before and After Pictures.

Nicely done Michele. When I hear, "but not my house" for whatever reason I want to say "there isn't a house out there that couldn't use SOME of my help (but I don't).
Michele ~ I agree 100%, sometimes our biggest successes are the more modest homes. The dining room looks twice as spacious now after your suggested changes, and the master bedroom truly looks like a "master" after moving the furniture to the right places and removing the area rug, etc. Very nice outcome!
Very nice staging, Michele! The master bedroom "makeover" is especially dramatic. I really like that bedding
Very nice Michelle. I had to look twice at the bedroom because I thought you put a new comforter in there, but it's the same one. Isn't it amazing how just re-arranging a room changes the way it feels and looks. Great job.
Michelle....GREAT point and I totally agree that it is NOT just for the big ticket homes. It really benefits ALL!
Looks great, was very linear before, like the layout much better now.
Thanks Nancy!
Thank you Kathy - and a special thank you for the Feature!
Ginger, the rental art and accessories allowed the updates in the home shine rather than a more dated feel with the previous art and accessories. Updates had been made - but it didn't feel like it previously.
Maureen, we switched out the dining table with one they had in the lower level. The one that was there was too large for the space - that's why it was over in the corner. For living it was perfect for them when they were entertaining.
Diana, the master bedroom was one of my favorite transformations in this home too.
Thanks Chrissie, both of the rooms had nice bedding when I arrived - you just could not appreciate it as much with the prior layout.
Thank you Kathy and Cindy!
Nice work Michele. It's just so obvious from these pictures of the value of a home stager!
Nice job Michele. Simple, but yet effective changes. Congrats!
Thank you Gabe and Birgit!
You've done a wonderful job, Michelle! Your photos are beautiful!
