Yes Wendy! We found the same thing upstairs in the bedrooms. The dated, burgundy carpet has been removed to showcase the gleaming, beautiful hardwood floors.

I found that in a home we purchased once! It looked as though they had refurbished the floors and then laid carpet...40 years earlier...We pulled up carpet and swept. Voila! Your transformation is wonderful, the paint and floors made a world of difference!

Michele - Stagers see lots of before and after shots - but these had me saying WOW! Wonderful redesign work - from the layout to the paint color -- incredible results! If the home sellers would have kept it blue it would have been one agents would remember - but not for good reasons!

Great pictures to prove the argument. Our office has a listing just like this, absolutely loaded with furniture, photos and knick knacks. It has taken us 3 months to get them to agree to paint the outside of the house from dark gray to a more appealing color. Now we have to work on the inside!
