Simply Staged Inc - Rockford Area Home Staging Blog: November 2010

We are pleased to announce this Belvidere home went under contract 66 days after being staged!  Comparable homes in the same area and price range are averaging 184 days on market. 

Most of the "before" photos were taken after furniture was repositioned, so I don't have many True before/afters to share with you.  But I did find these before/after photos of the dining room.

Wall paper removal, painting, updating light fixtures, and a few other jobs throughout the home were completed by the sellers as recommended by Simply Staged.  Once all the jobs were complete, Simply Staged brought in rental accessories to complement the seller's belongings.

As with many older Victorian homes you had to walk through rooms to get to other rooms.  When vacant these rooms made the home feel confusing.  You really were not sure what room you were in and how it could be used.  Staging each room took the mystery out of the home's floor plan, flow and answered the question, "How is this floor plan livable?"
